Hisako Uchimura makes paper in her one-woman shop near the town of Ogawa. She primarily makes Hosokawa-shi, using the finest materials, including Kozo she has grown herself near her studio. This paper is a more affordable version of that paper in her heaviest weight, #8, made using high quality Kozo from China. It is a soft, warm sheet, both thin and durable.
