Hisako Uchimura makes paper in her one-woman shop near the town of Ogawa. She primarily makes Hosokawa-shi, using the finest materials, including Kozo she has grown herself near her studio. The paper has a beautiful quality and almost seems to shine in the light. It is a soft, warm sheet, both thin and durable.
