Okawara is a soft, strong, versatile paper made from kozo and alpha cellulose fibers. It has a lower degree of transparency than some of our other washi, and the individual fibers are less visible. The color is natural white. Okawara is good for many types of techniques, and holds up well in other processes including indigo dying.
