Shiramine is our largest-sized and heaviest washi roll. The paper is internally sized, making it able to stand up to many mark-making techniques. The two sides of the paper have different surfaces, one with more tooth, and the other side smoother. A versatile paper for artists working in mixed-media, encaustic, drawing and painting, as well as many different printmaking techniques. Made at the Awagami Paper Mill on the island of Shikoku.
